Tuition Assistance
Financial assistance, in the form of tuition aid, is funded by donations, fundraising and the Quinte Christian Endowment Fund. Donations are received from individuals, alumni, supporting families, churches, foundations and the extended supporting community who support the vision of Christian education and want to participate by enabling all families who would like to have their children attend Quinte Christian High School but lack the financial resources to do so. Tuition Assistance is awarded to those families who seek aid and demonstrate the need for assistance. The Tuition Assistance Committee, an extension of the Finance Committee, awards the assistance, which carries with it no obligation of repayment. However, it is hoped and requested that beneficiaries will in the future become donors to the fund, just as they have received the benefit, they too can be a benefit to others.
Tuition Assistance: Application Process
To apply for tuition assistance, an application for tuition assistance must be filled out, outlining the need for aid. This form is requested for at the time of filling out the Tuition Pledge form. A new Tuition Assistance form must be completed each year. This form will then be forwarded to the Tuition Aid Committee, who will then award tuition assistance based on the amount of tuition aid available for that calendar year. The financial aid budget has limitations and will be given out as fairly and justly as possible. Any and all information is kept in the strictest confidence.
