Post-Secondary Education

Graduate Success and Post Secondary Education

Quinte Christian High School has been graduating students since 1981. Our Grade 12 students graduate with the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and the Christian School Diploma (CSD).

Our goal is to assist every student to be successful.  This is accomplished through keeping class sizes small, making use of an academic tracking system, resource and guidance, and ample individual assistance for students.

It is not uncommon for 65-75% of our students to achieve the honour roll (minimum of 80% average) or high honour roll (minimum of 90% average). Most of our graduates pursue post-secondary education, including university, college and apprenticeship programs.  Student acceptance by universities and colleges is high, despite fierce competition for program spaces.  Universities unofficially rank the high schools in Ontario, and independent Christian high school graduates are sought after by post-secondary institutions.

A number of our alumni have proceeded to masters or doctorate programs, where they perform well in such fields as social work, business, teaching, medicine, dentistry, engineering, public administration, writing and publishing original works.
