Admissions
Welcome to QCHS, a place to honour the King in learning! Our mission as a Christian high school is to honour Jesus Christ in learning. Everything we do is designed to enhance the Christian character of the school by creating an effective, Christ-centred learning environment.
We invite you to be a part of the QCHS learning and discipleship program. Our program is designed to challenge each student with high academic standards. We offer a wide range of courses taught from a Christian perspective. Our extra-curricular opportunities are designed to develop students' gifts and talents. The tone of the school emphasizes life in the Spirit and a passion to love and serve Jesus Christ. Our grade 9 and 10 class sizes are small. Our teaching staff is well qualified and committed to meeting the learning needs of your child.
As a community-operated school, we believe that raising children is primarily the responsibility of parents. We encourage the partnership between parents and teachers by being available to hear your thoughts, concerns and advice.
Our school community is a place where volunteers are vital to the success of the school and its ministry to young people. Volunteers assist in ministries such as painting, gardening, lawn maintenance, repairs, mailings, fundraising, or driving students to tournaments and off-campus locations such as the golf range, curling club, or hockey rink.
We look forward to another exciting year as we learn and grow together.
Our God is an awesome God!
